Tyrenum by Tiziana Terenzi is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Tyrenum was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Paolo Terenzi. Top notes are Calabrian bergamot, Caramel, Brazilian Orange, Green Tea and Osmanthus; middle notes are Sea Notes, Salt, Guatemalan Cardamom, Pink Pepper and Black Pepper; base notes are Stone, Ambergris, Olive Tree, Indian Patchouli, Musk and Madagascar Vanilla.
The creation is inspired by the famous city in Puglia now known as Trani, once known as Tyrenum, a land bathed by the sea and lashed by the wind, where for centuries sailors from all over the world have loved to take refuge, captivated by its enchanting beauty.
Paolo and Tiziana’s search for the scent of salt continues. They have now landed in beautiful Puglia to discover sea salt and its olfactory characteristics. Trani is known by the motto ‘The beauty that looks over the sea’, because all of its greatest monuments face the sea and are reflected in it. A sunset stroll along the city’s seafront can take one’s breath away and leave travelers enraptured forever. The bond with the sea is strong and unbreakable, just like the Tyrenum fragrance that captures its spirit of wonder on the wings of the intense breezes that gather the smell of salt and the pinkish-white tuff limestone stones that distinguish the city in the colors and reflections of the great blue of the Adriatic.
The creation opens with an effervescent and innovative citrus bouquet, echoing Reggio Calabria Bergamot and Brazilian Orange, embraced by the sparkling delight of Himalayan Osmanthus and Sri Lankan Green Tea, softened by the strength of Puglia Caramel. This exhilarating balance of fresh, sugary notes settles on the heart note of the fragrance, where the powerful Sea Breeze blows, carrying the scent of iodine and Adriatic Salt, seasoned with the pungent counterpoint of Pink and Black Pepper with Cardamom from Guatemala. The structure of the base is as robust and tenacious as the stone on which the city was founded. We perceive the decisive notes of the precious Puglia Olive woods and Indian Patchouli, mixed with the aphrodisiac persuasiveness of Musk and Ambergris, a precious gift of the sea, supported by the vigour of Trani Stone and the caress of Madagascar Vanilla Berries. Tyrenum captures the spirit of the Sea Breeze in the sunsets over the sea on summer evenings, enveloping those who cast their eyes beyond the horizon in hypnotic mystery.
