“The name ‘Finom Istálló’ may sound ridiculous at first, as who would name a perfume that?” many might ask. Well, we would! We’ve often heard hundreds of amateur perfume enthusiasts in our showroom compare agarwood (oud), sandalwood, and leather scents to a stable. Of course, everyone jokes about it, and we thought we’d play along by naming this truly heavy, extraordinarily dominant, and strong fragrance “Istálló.” But it’s not just any stable; we cannot deny that this scent is also captivating, elegant, and sexy, so we had to add “Finom” (meaning “fine”) to make it even more extraordinary! One thing is for sure: nobody will forget the name of this fragrance, and that was our goal!
At first whiff, the sensual aroma of agarwood and sandalwood is prominent, while a hint of saffron adds elegance to the perfume, and the leather notes impart a sense of luxury and quality.
In the fragrance’s further layers, the delicate and refined scent of white musk is complemented by the petals of rose and jasmine, making it even more special. The sweet vanilla and amber captivate the senses, while cinnamon exudes a spicy and warm atmosphere.
Our founder, Szabolcs Szerencsés, experienced similar scents at a horse race in Dubai, making it one of the sources of inspiration and the foundation related to horses. Of course, it’s not the ‘horse smell’ that this perfume resembles, but rather the elite class who attend such races.
Attention: THIS FRAGRANCE HAS AN EXTRAORDINARY FRAGRANCE CLOUD!
One of the special features of our Finom Istálló scent is geranium, or scented geranium (Pelargonium graveolens). Its native regions are South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. Its leaves exude a rose-like fragrance with a green aromatic undertone, which is why the perfume industry primarily uses this part of the plant. This fragrance note is also prominently featured in the following product: La Bohéme.
