For the year of 2019, JOOP! prepared a new version called JOOP! Homme Absolute, which opens a new chapter for the JOOP! Homme fragrance. This time, its bottle is black with a yellow logo, and the house adds that “black is the new pink.”
JOOP! Homme Absolute’s composition is signed by master perfumer Antoine Maisondieu (Givaudan). The fragrance combines a very unexpected floral note with unmistakably masculine basics. It opens with a spicy note of black pepper. This energetic and attractive overture gives way to the flower of Ylang-Ylang, which is more commonly used in feminine perfumes. On the other hand, the base is a very powerful blend of viral notes: fresh and aromatic vetiver, rich tonka bean and a hint of precious incense.
The face of the campaign is model Francisco Lachowski, along with his wife Jessieann Gravel Lachowski. The short ad videos are shot by acclaimed director Yvan Fabing.
